Stefan Betge has been trained for General Internal Medicine, Intensive Care in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Angiology in the University Hospitals Lübeck, Göttingen and Jena. Since 2016 he is an interventional angiologist. From 2011 to 2015 he was heading the angiology in the University Hospital Jena. From 2016 to 2020 he was Chief Physician of the Department of Angiology of the Heart- and Vascular Center Bad Bevensen, since 2020 he is Chief Physician of the Department of Internal Medicine and Angiology of the HELIOS-Hospital Salzgitter. He is a member of the board of the German scientific society of Angiology and of the German professional association of Angiology.
